RelayFrame is designed so your creative work stays on your iPhone. This policy explains the app separately from this public information website.

THE IPHONE APP

RelayFrame does not collect your app data.

Chosen photos

Copied into the app’s local project directory only after explicit selection.

Camera captures

Saved locally into the active project.

Alignment observations

Used transiently on-device and never stored as biometric templates.

Location metadata

Not read or copied into RelayFrame projects, films, or relay packages.

Background snapshots

A neutral RelayFrame cover replaces project media, titles, captions, and capture reviews whenever the app is inactive.

Finished films

Freshly rendered Studio frames plus an optional brand-only end card. Project titles, captions, original filenames, GPS, and source metadata stay out.

Accounts and contacts

No account exists, and contacts are never requested or uploaded.

Analytics and ads

No analytics SDK, advertising SDK, or cross-app tracking.

Network use

The version-one app has no custom network service and makes no product-data requests.

WHEN YOU SHARE

You choose the artifact and destination.

A film or .relayframe baton leaves your device only after you approve the in-app privacy review and choose a destination in Apple's share sheet.

Finished films contain freshly rendered Studio frames and, when enabled, a generic RelayFrame end card. Project titles, captions, original filenames, GPS, and source metadata stay out of the film and its share preview.

Faces, signs, addresses, and any other details visible inside a selected frame remain visible in the finished film. RelayFrame does not visually redact frame content.

Relay packages contain the relay title, template, frame order, file-format version, project, invitation, and frame identifiers, invitation creation time, alignment scores, and compressed re-rendered images. They leave behind original filenames, GPS, camera metadata, captions, contributor names, accounts, and your photo library.

Anyone receiving an artifact can save or forward it outside RelayFrame. Share only with people and services you trust.

CONTROL AND DELETION

Your projects remain under your control.

Delete a relay from Library to remove its project manifest, copied frames, and derived exports from RelayFrame's local app storage.

RelayFrame cannot delete copies you previously shared, files another person saved, or media you exported to another app.

Removing the app through iOS removes its app-owned local data, subject to Apple's device backup and restore behavior.

THIS WEBSITE

No product analytics, forms, or advertising.

This website does not set application-owned analytics or advertising cookies, run an advertising pixel, accept uploads, or include a contact form.

The hosting and network providers that deliver the website may transiently process ordinary request information—such as an IP address, browser user agent, requested page, and security signals—to deliver content, prevent abuse, and maintain service reliability. The hosting edge may set a strictly necessary, short-lived security cookie to distinguish likely automated traffic. RelayFrame does not use that cookie or request information to build profiles or track people across services.

Once TestFlight distribution begins, beta feedback will be handled through Apple's TestFlight feedback channel. Apple's own privacy terms will apply to that service.

CHANGES AND QUESTIONS

The policy changes before the product behavior does.

This policy will be reviewed before RelayFrame adds analytics, crash reporting, cloud sync, accounts, a direct support channel, or any other feature that changes data handling.

Once a TestFlight beta exists, privacy questions can use TestFlight's “Send Beta Feedback” action without attaching private media. No feedback channel is open yet.
